ABOUT ME …

MOONDIAL REIKI - PERRY BARR, BIRMINGHAM

Hello, my name is Sarah Ellis. I am a qualified Reiki Practitioner based in Perry Barr, Birmingham, UK, holding certification in Reiki levels 1 & 2. I offer seated Reiki healing sessions and Distant Reiki Healing for anyone in need of help with a variety of issues including physical pain, grief, anxiety, stress, low self - esteem, sleep issues, or are simply in need of relaxation.  Reiki is also used to support the wellbeing of a person.

MY REIKI JOURNEY …

My Reiki journey began through my own struggles with chronic illness. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2005, & more recently, Functional Neurological Disorder in 2023. Both of which had a major impact on my mobility, independence & self – confidence.

When I first began Reiki treatments for help, with my Reiki Master & teacher Jacqui, in February 2024, I had an immediate feeling that she was the right person for me. At the time I was reliant on the use of a wheelchair as I was experiencing daily pain, tremors, & frequent falls. Jacqui felt my emotional symptoms, particularly past grief and trauma, which I have carried around with me for many years were coming out on me physically. I had stored all this emotional pain inside my Solar Plexus Chakra. Reiki has helped me to release most of this emotional pain.

Through attending regular Reiki sessions, I began to feel real change, not just emotionally, but physically too. Alongside my perseverance & sheer determination, I gradually progressed to walking with a frame. I now am able to walk with just a stick.

A MESSAGE FROM MY DAD …

In February 2023, I lost my Dad. One night after praying for help from my Dad after a particularly bad couple of weeks of tremors, falls, & pain. My Dad appeared to me in a spiritual dream. In this vision he gently moved his hands above me & massaged my painful & stiff neck, which I was unable to turn. He made soothing noises & said "We have got to get you better Sarah. We can't have you suffering like this, can we."

It is remarkable that over the next couple of weeks, my symptoms were not so severe!!

My brother & sister – in – law told me the experience that occurred with my Dad sounded very similar to a Reiki session. For this reason plus the encouragement I received from my family, I decided to attend a Reiki session, & I am so glad that I did.

Why I Do This Work …

Reiki has changed my life dramatically, in ways which I could never have imagined. It has helped me to heal. Not just physically, but emotionally, & spiritually. Which is why I feel called to offer Reiki to others, to help them experience the same level of healing that I have.

I am not the healer – Reiki is the healer. I simply act as a channel for this beautiful energy, which initiates the healing process within the person or people I am working with. Reiki healing always flows to where it is most needed.
